The B Spot...

The B Spot knows how to hit the spot.  After reading all the reviews, the Hubby and I had to see what the hype was all about.  I am glad we did.

The restaurant is located in the heart of convoy near a mecca of other places.  Avoid eye contact with those places and head straight over to the B Spot.  You won't be let down.

This family owned and operated restaurant is bringing East Coast sandwiches to San Diego.  I ordered one of their classic sandwiches "The Rachel." It was an ultimate sandwich piled high with Boar's head pastrami meat, cole slaw, French fries, and nestled between toasty bread.  It was so huge I had issues finishing it.  My hubby ordered the avocado bacon burger.  This burger was a beast.  They stuff each patty with cheese.  So when you bite into their burger, it oozes with cheese and   burger juices.  That is how a real burger should be.

I left the B Spot so satisfied, I almost ran off without my purse.

Today feels like the longest day ever.  I am watching the clock...ticking by every minute.  It does not feel like it has budge in the past hour.


Days like this I need a little reinforcement to help the day move along faster.

2011 has started off with a bang. The Gators just won their Outback Bowl. Nice way to say goodbye to Urban Myer. Thanks Urban for 6 great years!!! We'll miss you. Go Gator nation!!!

Underdog Cheerleader to the rescue!!!

During my usual day of errands, I stopped off at Starbucks for a refreshing beverage. One Venti Green Tea to the rescue!!! After my purchase, I walk to my car. I see this mother and son in a state of craziness. It appears they have locked themselves out of their car. Luckily for them, they left the back windows partially opened. At first, my instinct was to avoid them like the plague. Avoid Avoid Avoid... But the sweet heart inside could not avoid them. So I decided to ask them if they need help getting in their car because I have long and narrow arms. : ) Thanks Mommy!!!


After I half jokingly asked them if the own the car. They reply if I was stealing a car I would not choose a beat up Dodge. So I proceed to shove my arm inside the car window. After a few minutes I finally managed to get my entire arm inside the car and pop the lock open. Woot!!! OMG! My elbow is stuck inside. I pull and pull then after couple of minutes I manage to get my arm free from the car. Yipppppy!!!

My arm is sore but my heart is heavy from joy of rescue that family nightmare situation.

Bon Voyage....Happy Anniversary

It's amost two years to the date that I said "I do" to this handsome fella. As part of the celebration we have planned an anniversary trip. We are flying to Miami to visit family and friends. Then Sunday we are off on a 7 day cruise around the Caribbean. Watch out Western Caribbean!!!

Day 1 -Fun Day at Sea

Day 2 - Grand Cayment Island

Day 3 - Isla Roatan

Day 4 - Belize

Day 5 - Cozumel

Day 6 - Fun Day at Sea

Day 7 -Back to Miami

4 days and counting...

In exactly 4 days from today, I will be sipping champagne on the deck of my cruise ship. The Hubby and I are sailing around the Caribbean for a week. It is our anniversary trip. Every year (so far) we have taken a trip to together to celebrate us. Woo hoo... I serious can't wait until Sunday. This day can not come any sooner in my opinion.
