Happy New Year's

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Year's!!!

2011 has started off with a bang. The Gators just won their Outback Bowl. Nice way to say goodbye to Urban Myer. Thanks Urban for 6 great years!!! We'll miss you. Go Gator nation!!!

Underdog Cheerleader to the rescue!!!

During my usual day of errands, I stopped off at Starbucks for a refreshing beverage. One Venti Green Tea to the rescue!!! After my purchase, I walk to my car. I see this mother and son in a state of craziness. It appears they have locked themselves out of their car. Luckily for them, they left the back windows partially opened. At first, my instinct was to avoid them like the plague. Avoid Avoid Avoid... But the sweet heart inside could not avoid them. So I decided to ask them if they need help getting in their car because I have long and narrow arms. : ) Thanks Mommy!!!


After I half jokingly asked them if the own the car. They reply if I was stealing a car I would not choose a beat up Dodge. So I proceed to shove my arm inside the car window. After a few minutes I finally managed to get my entire arm inside the car and pop the lock open. Woot!!! OMG! My elbow is stuck inside. I pull and pull then after couple of minutes I manage to get my arm free from the car. Yipppppy!!!

My arm is sore but my heart is heavy from joy of rescue that family nightmare situation.

Bon Voyage....Happy Anniversary

It's amost two years to the date that I said "I do" to this handsome fella. As part of the celebration we have planned an anniversary trip. We are flying to Miami to visit family and friends. Then Sunday we are off on a 7 day cruise around the Caribbean. Watch out Western Caribbean!!!

Day 1 -Fun Day at Sea

Day 2 - Grand Cayment Island

Day 3 - Isla Roatan

Day 4 - Belize

Day 5 - Cozumel

Day 6 - Fun Day at Sea

Day 7 -Back to Miami

4 days and counting...

In exactly 4 days from today, I will be sipping champagne on the deck of my cruise ship. The Hubby and I are sailing around the Caribbean for a week. It is our anniversary trip. Every year (so far) we have taken a trip to together to celebrate us. Woo hoo... I serious can't wait until Sunday. This day can not come any sooner in my opinion.

3.1 to be in fact. I heart Phillip Lim. He is my latest obession. He is the mastermind behind 3.1 Phillip Lim. Phillip Lim debuted his eponymous collection, 3.1 phillip lim, in the fall of 2005 to instant success, both critically and commercially. Lim's success continued in 2006 with the fashion industry's widespread recognition of his talent. An inaugural presentation of the fall/winter collection kicked off New York Fashion Week with glowing reviews. Most recently, following his spring '07 runway show, Booth Moore, of the Los Angeles Times said, "This fashion week a star was born: Phillip Lim!"

Christmas is coming around the corner. I have on the hunt for those perfect holiday presents. My mother-in-law wants a new purse. She prefers a black bag that is roomy enough to hold the contents of office but small enough to hold the contents her sedan's trunk. What a daunting task!!! I love shopping like the next girl. But all these trips to the mall and the online shopping sites makes me crave new shoes or new dress. Now i understand what it means that the holidays can be expensive.

Two nights ago, i was online at Saks.com. The Miu Miu jeweled flats went on sale. I wanted them sooooooooooo bad. But even on sale i could not justified the price tag. I went back later and they were already sold out. But deep down inside i know if i really want them i can make a call to my favorite sales lady at Saks. She could find them for me.

Ms. Kate Spade creates are similarly cute pair of flats for half the cost. Just as cute as the Miu Miu pair without the guilt. But unfornuate for Ms. Spade the reviews on these bellas are not great. It appears the middle stone falls off short after your first few months. What a waste!!!

I keep telling myself....resist the urge. Don't buy it/Be Good/You don't really need it/You will get a new bag SOON!!!! I am currently on a waiting list for this bag i have been dying to own. It is the Phillip Lim Studded Edie Bag. There was only a limited production. And even since Rachel Bilson has seen everywhere with it. It has been impossible to get. But it appears that in January they will reproduce it. And i am the waiting list. Woo hoo!!! Hopefully it won;t be like that crappy waiting list like when i was 19 waiting to get in Liquid in SOBE. Let's just say that night did not go well.
