3.1 PHILLIP LIM

The only man next to my hubby that can make my <3 skip a beat....PHILLIP LIM!!!! He is the genius behind the self titled 3.1 Phillip Lim brand.  He is the fashion designer of my dreams.  His brand is known for it's effortless chic ready to wear.  My favorite detail of his designs is the hidden pockets in his dresses and skirts. I am sucker for anything with pockets.

A few months ago, I bought a gift card off eBay.  This gift card has been burning a whole in my wallet.  So since this weekend we were going up to L.A. to visit some family, I begged asked my hubby kindly if we could go.  So he kindly drove to us to West Hollywood to visit his flagship Los Angeles store.  40 minutes later in LA's finest traffic, we arrived to this chic mecca called 3.1 Phillip Lim.

Leaving the store with my purchase.  Now I am the proud owner of a 3.1 Phillip Lim Studded Berry Wristlett : D

That's how they roll...

France is the home of French Fries, great wines, outdoor Cafés, Fashion, and now the compact car.  During our recent trip to France, we could not help but notice the abundance of compact cars cruising up and down the streets of France.  I am not a car aficionado, but there is some adorable about the compact car that make me *swoon*.  Oh how I love thee, compact car. Being an Asian girl everyone assumes I am horrible driver.  I just take enough for me to handle.  Therefore, this begins my love of all tiny cars.  The smaller the better in my opinion.

Here are a few photos of cars that I drooled over...

I did not drool over this... I just found it amusing.
As tiny as the couch in the living room

C'est Paris

Last month, I had the great pleasure of finally living one of my life long dreams.  As part of our 3rd Anniversary the hubby and I went to Paris for a week and half.  We explored Paris one bite at a time.  Here are some wonderful photos of our journey.

During our stay we rented an apartment on the St Louis en l'ile.  Little did we know it was a gastronomic dream.  Only steps away from our casa, was the famous Berthillon Glacier shop.  Their ice cream is sold in restaurants and shops all over France.  We had the delight of indulging on a few scoops as fuel for all the walking we anticipate.

Happy Friday!!!!

Happy Friday Ladies...

This day could not have come any sooner.  Here is a song to start the weekend off. (Just imagine Stephen Colbert & Jimmy Fallon sing it thou)

"It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

Happy Birthday MI Amiga : P

Today marks the birth of my dear friend and cube mate Jaclyn.  She is the sweetest girl in our department (of course after me).  She always has a smile no matter how horrible the day brings us.  She has the ability to make you smile when you are down not to mention she has the best rack  laugh in the office...LOL!!!

Happy Birthday My Cube Mate!!!! May you have a wonderful birthday filled with lots of Susy!!!

Chocolate covered Bacon....

This week I had the pleasure of indulging in a treat or two from the Sweet Treats mobile truck.  This truck has been cruising around San Diego supplying it's sugar addicts with their sugar fix.  This mobile food truck was filled with an assortment of gourmet goodies would rival any bakery.  During my visit it had assortment of cupcakes, cookies, creme brulee, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered Twinkies, and much much more.

They really stepped up the bar in the sweets treats department when they introduced "Chocolate covered bacon."  I know it sounds disgusting, but trust me, it was amazing. The salty bacon and the sweetness of the chocolate compliment each other well.  It was harmonious pairing.

Epic Nom...Chocolate covered bacon

The B Spot...

The B Spot knows how to hit the spot.  After reading all the reviews, the Hubby and I had to see what the hype was all about.  I am glad we did.

The restaurant is located in the heart of convoy near a mecca of other places.  Avoid eye contact with those places and head straight over to the B Spot.  You won't be let down.

This family owned and operated restaurant is bringing East Coast sandwiches to San Diego.  I ordered one of their classic sandwiches "The Rachel." It was an ultimate sandwich piled high with Boar's head pastrami meat, cole slaw, French fries, and nestled between toasty bread.  It was so huge I had issues finishing it.  My hubby ordered the avocado bacon burger.  This burger was a beast.  They stuff each patty with cheese.  So when you bite into their burger, it oozes with cheese and   burger juices.  That is how a real burger should be.

I left the B Spot so satisfied, I almost ran off without my purse.
