Six Months and counting

Yesterday mark the 6th month birthday of my sweet little boy.  I seriously cannot believe how our lives have changed in the past 6 months and can't wait to see what else the future brings us.

So far at six months, James enjoys:

- Reading books - loves when we read to him and make special sound effects
-Exploring -He loves going outside and playing in the grass
-He loves being held by just about anyone
- He loves touching and feeling everything.
- He loves playing Peek-A-Boo.
- He loves when Grandma comes for a visit and plays with him all day.
- He loves rolling over or as much as he can.
- Tummy time - He is actually starting to like being on his tummy more.
-Started to speak more-  On Easter it sound like he said Da Da!!!  One day soon he will say Mama...

Let's see what the future has in stored for us.

Happy Friday!!!

Happy Friday!!!Tomorrow is officially my 33nd week.  This mama-to-be is getting bigger as the days go by.  I seriously cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has been fly by.   We are slowly getting things ready for the little one's arrival.  We start classes tomorrow...wish us luck.

Another thing, I cannot believe is I am an aunt AGAIN!!!  My sister was induced on Saturday night.  She delivered an adorable little boy on Sunday morning.  He was 7lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long.  He will be the first addition to my side.  Both baby and mommy are doing well.  They just got released from the hospital last night.  They had to stay an extra couple of days since they both got a fever during their stay.  Now the happy little family is getting settled.

I can't wait to meet my new nephew.  He is the first addition to my side of the family.  That little boy has already capture everyone's heart.  Auntie loves u!!!

My Sister

My sister has been my role model ever since I was little.  I always wanted to be like her.  Well, I guess things never change.  A month after my sister announced that she was pregnant, I soon followed (just happened..I swear).   This journey has been amazing to have my sister around to share.  I really appreciate having her as my sister.  She is the best sister one could ever ask for.

Here are some photos of her growing belly... she is 10 weeks further then me.  She is expecting a little boy in August.  Auntie can't wait to meet you soon.

Holiday Adventures in Miami...

Holidays have came and went.  Luckily for us, we got to spend part of it in Miami visiting family and friends.  Our holiday trip was a little rougher then our usual trips.  During our visiting to Miami, we got the opportunity to celebrate one of my dear friend's milestone 30th birthday, have a fender bender, celebrate as the best auntie in world (they do not need to tell me, i just know), being an expert at filing rental car claims reports, spend quality time with my sister, and celebrate my very first Chinese Christmas Dinner (usual it is just called dinner).

After Christmas, we headed back to San Diego where we spent the rest of the holidays  snuggled on the couch, catching up on our favorite television shows, eating candy from our Christmas stocking, and recovering from a nasty cold.

Here is a photo recap of our trip...

Good Bye 2011 and Hello 2012!!!

Today marks the end of another year.

This year has been filled with many joys and woes,

trust me, it did and still does...

but in the end, we couldn't be happier with the many blessings and experiences we received

during the last 365 days.  Thank you everyone for making this year as wonderful as possible.

We will cherish all the memories you all have brought us.

Tonight, I will be snuggled on the couch with my handsome Hubby and the most adorable cat

in world.  We will be watching the ball drop in Time Square while sipping Champagne and

making wishes, eating my 12 magical grapes and not to mention kissing the hubby.

 Happy New Year Everyone!!!

May 2012 brings us all a year filled with peace, prosperity and happiness.

See you in 2012!

Pumpkin Picking

This weekend, we drove out to a local pumpkin patch and picked pumpkins.  Being this was my first time at a  pumpkin patch, I did not know what to expect.  To my surprise this pumpkin patch was more then just pumpkins and hay.  It was surrounded by a mini carnival.  It had tons of games, rides, and even a petting zoo. We filled our little wheel barrow with our selections...now let the fun pumpkin carving and pumpkin recipes begin.

Back to School...

It's official summer is over.  It is back to school time for the little ones and in my husband's case; the big ones.  When I was little I use to love going back to school.  Not for the education purpose but because it always meant shopping for back to school supplies and new school clothes.

This week my niece started her first day of kindergarten.   As a proud Aunt, I bought her a present to start school in style.  Here is a picture of my happy niece with her new Disney Princesses Hello Kitty backpack.  Nothing but the best for my favorite niece.  Okay!  She is currently my ONLY niece.  Well, this wonderful backpack is filled with activity books and a set of crayons.  She is so smart she is already multiplying at the ripe age of 5.

I hope she fills her new backpack with wonderful memories ;D
