30 weeks and counting...

Today officially marks my 30 week of pregnancy!  Whew!!! It is hard to believe that there less then 2 1/2 months left?  Which feels like an eternity until we meet our little one, but at the same time it feels like nothing on the planning side.  We have so much to do and we have done almost nothing.  Time for Panic mode!!!

At 29 weeks...

  • Things are has become more and more difficult especially sleeping.  I make tossing and turn seem like a sport.   It is very difficult for me to find the right spot to get comfortable.  Luckily for me, we purchased a Boppy pillow to ease all aches I would receive from sleeping on my side.
  • The hubby and I have started the great search of all things BABY.  Oh gosh is it a daunting task. Every one seems to have an opinion about every baby product on the mark.  In some ways super helpful and other ways it makes our job as consumers even more difficult.
  • My appetite has pretty much back to my pre-pregnancy self.  I still have cravings for the occasional sweets.  I think my baby is taking after my hubby's side.  He loves his sweets.  Lately,  I have been know to finish a chocolate bar in one sitting.
  • As the weeks past by, it is getting more and more difficult to walk without the trademark duck waddle.
  • Baby boy is definitely making his presence be know.  He has been moving around a lot lately.  I think he might be a future soccer play or Olympian gymnast the way he does back flips.  He mostly spends his time relaxing on my right side.
  •  In addition, to announcing his presence...the presence of heartburn and in digest have decided to join the party.  No fun... at least my other friend swollen feet decided to leave the party early.
  • Baby boy is growing faster and faster; so is my belly.  Lately, I have been finding myself accidentally bumping into things more often with my belly.   Some days I think my belly has a mind on it's own.  It accidentally turn on the stove once.
